![]() Stayed as a family in 2 oceanfront patio rooms. I recommend the Fireside Inn and thank them for a lovely time!… ![]() ![]() Everyone I saw wore masks, even on the beach which isn't necessary any longer, especially when you're at least feet away from another human, but we wore them to fit in. Nothing quite like walking a windy beach to watch the sun set to be at peace. Sea Chest is a trip, you wait in line that starts early and end up talking to a bunch of people you never saw before - fun! Sea Chest is cash only so come prepared! I recommend Cambria for a first foray to travel after Covid. Saw there were additional lights strung around the ceiling and wondered why they weren't on. As for Dining, We've been to Madelines, (with reserations) and the Sea Chest ( no reservations taken) for dinner Both are very good though in my opinion Madelines was so dark that I had to turn on my phone flashlight to order and sort of missed out on seeing my food. I'm campaigning to end the powdered artificial creamers in hotels - how can you update your coffee maker, update your coffee and still use that stuff? I was prepared this time and purchased h&h before we came home from dinner that first night. There are few Kings, so once again, get your reservation as soon as you can if you're in need of a King. I've stayed here before, with my husband as well as with a getaway with a dear friend, so know that both types of rooms, Double Queen or Kind are well appointed. Armando, the Front Desk Receptionist helped us find a room that worked, a big thanks to him since it was obvious that the place was almost filled. We were moved from our first location where while very quiet, it was too dark after coming to enjoy Cambria. Make your reservations early as this is a popular beach location, close to water and restaurants, friendly and helpful staff. Overall, it was nice stay and the room was really nice but, will probably somewhere else the next time we are in Cambria… We brought our own food as there is no breakfast service like we had at other places on the Moonstone beach. We wish there was a table in the unit or at least a coffee table in front of the sofa where we eat. The last two places we stayed at in Cambria and Morro Bay had digital fireplaces that were also heaters that did a pretty good job at keeping the room warm. There was a gas fireplace but did little to keep the room warm. Also had to put a towel at the bottom of the door as it was very drafty. The room got really cold at night but fortunately they have portable heaters guests can borrow which made it comfortable at night. The TV in the room was a decent size and had the HBO channels. Had no problems streaming a movie at night on our tablet. Didn't have any problems finding parking. The front desk staff were nice and so were the housekeeping staff whenever we asked for extra towels, sheets, and coffee. Moonstone beach was right across the street. We had the ocean front patio king and it was nice having our separate patio (Unit 204). Had a decent size fridge and a coffee maker with Starbucks coffee pouches. The room was nice and roomy but wished it had a microwave. Seeing that the room were remodeled recently we decided to check it out while taking advantage of Pacifica's Black Friday sale. ![]() Hotels near Ephraim Pottery West Gallery.Hotels near Tula Yoga, Fitness & Retreats.
